You see NEITHER of those cards make much sense, so DONT use hybrid mana.

2nd if i were going to do the lunar blast it'd have to be like.

Lunar Blast RW

Deal 3 damage to target creature or player.If Lunar Blast would be countered, you gain 3 life.

When you cycle Lunar Blast deal 1 damage to target creature or player and gain 1 life.

I would drop the last clause, it's some nice design space, but not very flavorful for red or white. The card should look something like this:

Lunar Blast RW
Instant
Lunar Blast deals 3 damage to target creature or player. If Lunar Blast is the target of a spell or ability while on the stack, you gain 3 life.

And if you want to have the last clause on, it should be worded something like this:
If [this] was countered this turn, you may play it from your graveyard until end of turn.
