As you may have read in the news section, there is a new version of GO that allows for multiplayer.
It is in it's first stages so there may be many problems, but we thought it was fit for a first try.
When you want to play multiplayer, you will have to create a team, and you challenge a team that has been created by your opponent.
Here is how it works:
suppose Dan wants to create a team. he will type this command: /tnew password
he then invites a teammate by giving him the password. The teammate will then type /tjoin Dan password.
If you want to challenge a team, the teamleader issues the challenge by typing /tch teamleadername.
The opposing teamleader will accept the challenge by typing /accept or /a.
When starting a game, every player needs to load a deck, and every player needs to click game --> start new game seperately to confirm everybody is online and active.

So, to sum all the commands:

/tnew password --> create a new team
/tjoin username password --> join (username)'s team
/tch username --> challenge the team of (username)
/accept ---> teamleader accepting the challenge
/teams ---> a list of all current teams
/team ---> details of your team
/tleave username ---> leave the team of (username)
/tkick username ---> kick (username) from our team (team captains only)
/tpass newpass ---> change your team's password (team captain only)

I hope this gets you going and have a lot of fun.

Greetz Nico

Are there any other ways to play multiplayer? Like can you and 2 other friends just hop in a game and have a free for all?

Technically it's possible yes, but now the turnstructure and some other settings are 2HG / Emperor specific.
Like, now you can view the hand of the person next to you (your teammate), but in free for all, I dont think you'd want this.

Enough work to do for multiplayer, but yes, that will be possible one day (before the summer is over)
