Too many creatures. Cut the Lavamancers and the Firecats, you can do better with 4 mana... if you get there. Add some Lava Spikes and Incinerates. I prefer Rift Bolt over Magma Jet. Char is nice.

Mono Red Burn has a very tight list and most versions don't differ very much. Here's my list for reference:

Lands
20 Mountain

Creatures
4 Mogg Fanatic

Spells
4 Flames of the Blood Hand
4 Fireblast
4 Lava Spike
4 Rift Bolt
4 Flamebreak
4 Incinerate
4 Chain Lightning
4 Lightning Bolt
4 Browbeat

Sideboard
3 Shattering Spree
3 Pithing Needle
3 Sulfuric Vortex
3 Ensnaring Bridge
3 Red Elemental Blast

I like those Price of Progress you have in your sideboard, I overlooked that.

i find running fork over brow beat is deadly. you can cast a fireblast, tap the lands first though, and then sac them, play fireblast, and copy, dealing a deadly 8 damgae. This usually finishes off games.

Straight burn in today's metagame will have a tendency to either flat out kill the opponent or simply run out of steam. Quickly. While Grim Lavamancer helps ensure you don't and helps quite a bit with the late game, oftentimes he is not enough. I myself am much more fond of the more controllish build of Red Deck Wins from the old Tempest Extended format. The deck has lots of one-mana burn spells and disruption. Disruption is key, it helps stall your opponent to give ample time to burn them out. It helps ensure you don't run out of steam. It makes your games a bit longer, but you win much more consitently.

I'll post my current RDW build, which won two a trials on here some time ago, though it could probably be updated a bit.

4 Bloodstained Mire
4 Wooded Foothills
4 Rishadan Port
4 Wasteland

4 Mogg Fanatic
4 Jackal Pup
4 Grim Lavamancer
3 Blistering Firecat

4 Lava Dart
3 Cursed Scroll
2 Fireblast
4 Lightning Bolt
4 Chain Lightning
4 Incinerate

Sideboard
2 Pyroblast
2 Red Elemental Blast
3 Shattering Spree
2 Anarchy
3 Pyrostatic Pillar

The one-drop creature followed by a wasteland or rishadan port on the second turn is the optimal play with this build. Taking away your opponents second turn while gaining tempo is always a good thing. I play firecat over ball lightning because firecat is easier to cast than his cousin. You're not always going to have three red mana.

Lava Dart is great against goblins and other creature based decks. Incinerate helps win the game against Fairy Stompy, which, by the way, is a horrible matchup for this deck. I would say 90/10 in favor of stompy. But it helps ensure that Chalice for one doesn't render your library useless. Only two fireblast because drawing too many can clog your hand. It's really only a finisher. I like the Fork idea, I've always been fond of it myself, but I'd almost rather have another burn spell.

And that's about it. Sideboarding is obvious. I hope this helped you.

Especially when you play no red mana sources in your deck Wink

Every free slot should be filled in with a Mountain. Nice build.

Woops! yeah there should be 8 mountains in there. BTW, try putting Ensnaring Bridge in the board, it's great vs decks that rely on the combat phase.

This is the one I use for 1.5 and it's held its own against far too many others.

If you meta-game Burn you can do a lot better.

Lands:
4 x Barbarian Rings
6 x Mountains
3 x Bloodstained Mire
3 x Wooded Foothills

Creatures:
3 x Mogg Fanatic

Spells:
4 x Price of Progess
4 x Lightning Bolt
4 x Chain Lightning
4 x Lava Spike
4 x Rift Bolt
3 x Flame Rift
2 x Fireblast
2 x Flames of the Blood Hand
2 x Incinerate
2 x Shrapnel Blast
3 x Urza's Bauble
3 x Mishra's Bauble
4 x Leyline of the Void

Sideboard:
4 x Leyline of Singularity
2 x Shattering Spree
2 x Shatter
2 x Pyroblast
2 x Red Elemental Blast
3 x Urza's Rage

In 1.5 I'd rather Maindeck Price of Progress considering that roughly 80% of all decks are multicolored and decks like Thresh, Froggoid, Ichroid, Iggy, whatever feed off the grave.

I used to run Chalice of the Voids and drop em for 0 but theirs no need anyone.

And I'm suicidal enough for Pyrostatic Pillar.

id rather have molten rain than lava dart, since it almost always hits his target and is just to cool with port and wasteland while jackal pub goes for the beats

Ehm I dont know much about Burn decks but im just curious to ask if anyone run Pyrokinesis in their decks? And if you dont why it doesnt fit in the deck?

Btw I have planned making a Burn deck myself and I love the idea of having Fork. Obviously to use it most of the times together with Fireblast but when they day comes and you fork Price of Progress which easily can do 8 damage I would love to see your opponents face. ^^
