At the moment, im positive this is what I will be taking to the Regionals. Just looking to see what others had to say about it.

You may want tendrils of corruption at least in board against aggro.

The Rack decks really arent very good. I think it's because people WANT it to be good so badly that they build them and play them over and over again, yet still have woefully average matchups versus everything. The deck has so few matchups that are good and so many matchups that are unwinnable that this deck is pointless to attempt to run. Go run something else :S

Why assasin?
Imo, the decks against which u wanna kill a creature are not the ones u want to lose half ur life against.
It's versatile, but not great
Why strompgald crusader?
Is it good against any deck that sees play?
Totem is not optimal
call to the netherworld is mediocre, don't rely on smallpox that much

these should be 4 of's, maybe less leylines and a few extirpates
dredge is a horrible mu otherwise: ur accually helping him most of the time
try to get alternatives for ur discard in sb useable against dredge, otherwise u have alot of dead cards: STUPOR MD, not sb

This deck is about card advantage, u plain ignore that (no stupor no augur). 2 arenas md woudn't hurt either, and try tombstalker he rules. Games go long anyway, so u don't need the 8land, it stings with confi but it's well worth it.
It goes as removal for dragonstormhellkite and gruul can't handle it

Strategy: Discard opponent's hand down to less than 3, and keep him there with the help of either Phyrexian Arena or Rix Maadi, or both. Continue this until he dies from The Rack damage. If he does not, Magnivore should be at least 5 in size before he is played (b/c of Char, Psiblast and Sudden Death. Both at the same time is of course optimal.

Detritivore: tried him. Didn't work well enough, even with signets.

Nightmare Void: tried him. Even against heavy counter control I did not transmute for him. I need Arena in play for his Dredge ability to be remotely useful, and I need 7-11 mana in order to do that even against a single Remand.

Persecute: same as above. I want to overcome the one-turn per spell disadvantage. Relying on a 4cc spell to get something through is a flawed strategy. The one-of was cut.

The control and combo matchup is good, the aggro matchup is hard. The GW deck that won the last trial seems almost impossible (i.e, the more creatures, the worse it is for me)

alot of people have been playiing rack decks i dont see them working to well like few contorl decks just stop them
