This is a stupid question but I wanted make sure
If I have an augur of skulls in play during my upkeep can I sack it twice with the aid of saffi? |

| No you can't. The trigerred ability goes to stack at the beginning of your upkeep and you choose to sac it. Then you save it with saffi but the beginning of your upkeep "has already passed". It won't trigger again because that's not the beginning of your upkeep anymore. When your upkeep begins all effects that trigger at the beginning of your upkeep go to stack in whatever order you want and when you get priority and play something that has an ability at the beginning of your upkeep it can't trigger anymore. |

reading is tech.
"Sacrifice Augur of Skulls: Target player discards two cards. Play this ability only during your upkeep."
It doesnt say anywhere on the augur that it must be at the beggining of the upkeep. As long as it is during your upkeep step you can use the augur's ability. |

LOL!!! I didn't read augur but I thought it said at the beginning of your upkeep you may sac...

From what I understand before, I thougth the guy meant to sac the Augur just after he sac it... so that is why I asked that question |
