I don't see why you have Urborg, you have no way to abuse it, its just a legendary swamp in your deck. You might as well replace it for a swamp, or a mountain.

Suggestions
BloodMoon / Magus of the Moon, You would have to fix your base for these, or just hope to draw well.

Char in the SB confuses me, why not MD?
thats all I can think of for now/

the Urborg makes his springs tap for B for free and a cairns untapped by itself can make B mana

Any black aggro deck should play at least 1x of this card. Its a strip mine against the best anti-aggro strategy to come from TSP block (tendrils) and helps fix mana. Playing one is strictly better than a swamp.

Tendrils of Corruption is at best a late-game overkill card. If you tap out for 4 mana in turn 4, to deal 4 damage to a creature in play - instead of tapping out the same amount of mana in the same turn, killing all creatures in play, then you are screwed even if you get 4 life (which is uncertain).

One thing is certain: the best anti-aggro strategy from TSP block it is not. I call it mediocre. Killing a creature turn 4 (or turn 3: 3 damage for 3 life with signet) is at least one turn too late.

Actually Tendrils is an amazing card...
Just picture an aggro matchup where the other guy's creatures are slightly stronger but yours have better abilities, you're a bit behind on life and then you play tendrils to instantly gain more life, kill his creature, and make way to attack.

You both missed my point.

The only thing that allows a control deck to live against an early start like a typical gruul start is Wog/Damnation followed by either 1. A threat to halt the combat step or 2. A tendrils for 6 at your coth token.

If you don't believe Tendrils is a good anti aggro strategy, go check Mike Flores' articles on SCG or the t8 of PT: Yokohama.
