<> Thinking
taps Snow-Covered Forest
taps Snow-Covered Forest
taps Llanowar Wastes
taps Urborg, Tomb of Yawgmoth
taps Overgrown Tomb
taps Snow-Covered Swamp
plays Skeletal Vampire from Hand
<TofuBoy> Wait!
<> Ok
<TofuBoy> Comes into play trigger on the stack
TofuBoy taps Swamp
TofuBoy taps Caves of Koilos
TofuBoy taps Plains
TofuBoy taps Swamp
TofuBoy plays Tendrils of Corruption from Hand
<> I dont think that worksd
<TofuBoy> Yes it does
<> don't think so
<> show me a link
<TofuBoy> How about I explain it to you: When Skeletal Vampire comes into play it creates a triggered ability
<> never ever heard anyone say stuff like this works
<TofuBoy> Correct?
<> as soon as it is in play, there are two bats
<> this preceeds your spells
<TofuBoy> Triggered abilities use words like "When" "whenever" and "At the beginning of
<TofuBoy> These triggers use the stack and can be responded to
<TofuBoy> It would be different if the vampire said "As Skeletal Vampire comes into play"
<TofuBoy> See the Comp Rules about Triggered abilities
<TofuBoy> You still get tokens
<TofuBoy> But your vamp dies
<> I know
<> well, we play it your way, I'm still not convinced , this is different to other abillities.

I just need a clarification on this.

You are correct, since the vampires ability says "when" this means its a triggerd abiliy, and when its on the stack you can kill the vampire without the regernation possibility

Side note: Thanks to the Urborg he played I used undertakers to make use of the 2 I had in hand and used his Urborg to power my tendrils for a tasty 16 life.
