Can anyone comment on this build I've been using in my block games? It has been doing quite well with a lot of testing done...

4 Graven Cairns
2 Keldon Megaliths
2 Terramorphic Expanse
7 Mountain
3 Swamp
1 Pendelhaven
2 Molten Slagheap
1 Urborg, Tomb of Yawgmoth
2 Tombstalker
2 Nihilith
2 Shivan Sand-Mage
2 Augur of Skulls
4 Rift Elemental
4 Greater Gargadon
1 Pardic Dragon
4 Brute Force
4 Smallpox
3 Rift Bolt
3 Sudden Death
1 Arc Blade
2 Curse of the Cabal
4 Fury Charm
SB: 1 Shimian Specter
SB: 4 Damnation
SB: 4 Sulfur Elemental
SB: 1 Tendrils of Corruption
SB: 1 Word of Seizing
SB: 1 Disintegrate
SB: 2 Rough // Tumble
SB: 1 Akroma, Angel of Fury

So far I've only got a game against a counter deck w/ Teferi, so I don't know how much it will fair against Teferi decks, yet against an MGA, MBC, Mono Red Aggro, RG Mana Ramp and the like. Once enough mana is gathered, I can easily suspend Curse of the Cabal then resolve it with either Fury Char, Rift Elemental or Shivan Sand Mage.

If I go against Teferi decks, I sideboard in the Specter, Akroma, Word of Seizing and the Sulfur Elementals. If I go against Aggro builds, I sideboard in my Damnation, Tendrils of Corruption and Rough and Tumble. Disintegrate is the wild card

I usually go for first turn suspends most especially first turn suspend Gargadon then turn 2 with either more suspend an/or Rift Elemental. I don't have that much mana problems since the Greater Gargadon and Curse of the Cabal are mostly suspended.

I go for the kill with Greater Gargadon or an unblocked Rift Elemental pumped exceptionally. On other cases, Nihilith and Tombstalker provide Black back-up because of Nihilith's Fear and 4/4 body as well as Tombstalker as a flying fatty invulnerable to a single Sudden Death or Psionic Blast.

sudden death x4=100% needed maindeck, or else "EOT Teferi" reads "hahaha you lose". 3 is simply not enough when teferi is one of the most commonly played cards in the format.

googa, you're a tard. It's a block version of an established tier 2 standard deck.

ok so i put 4 Sudden Deaths and removed a Rift Bolt... The deck just sprang in my mind because I have a set of Curse of the Cabal real life and I really wanted to abuse its suspend cost being 2BB for just 2 counters. Upon researching a bit... I found the cards above and voila...[/quote]
