So I was thinking about old cards that I like and others that have been out of print for years. A lot of these I would like to see reprinted but know it won't happen for some time due to the current meta (though Tormod's Crypt was a shocker) or because of the reserve list.
What I want to know is what would YOU like to see. Let's say that you could choose any three cards that have been printed in the past to reprint. Forget the reserve and the meta... What do you think would be a great addition (again) to Magic? And if you say lotus, you might as well put on your sheep costume and go out to pasture.

Here is a quick 3 from me.

1. Abeyance (remember getting beaten up in the parking lot?)
2. Mishra's Factory ( I mean... c'mon....)
3. Sylvan Library (Not enough air time)

Abeyance is a no reprint to SOL on that.
I'd say Wasteland, Cursed Scroll, and Thawing Glaciers.

instead of 3, i have to choose 1 for each color, land and artifact. it's more fair,

Red: jackal pup
blue: brainstorm
white: armageddon
black: vampiric tutor
green: rogue elephant
land: wasteland
artifact: powder keg

See, I don't want any of those cards back because I'd rather have the interesting, non-broken cards back that could still fit in the format without wrecking it.

Wizards did a good idea of that with timeshifted stuff (like colorshifting Recycle, which never found a way to get abused, etc.).

If I could bring back three cards, they'd be:

Long Term Plans - coolest idea for a tutor ever, and if they have Lost Hours now...they shoulda brought this back. Sad

Words of Worship - because Zur's Weirding is not as cool when you don't have a good way to use it that doesn't involve two other colors. (I'm looking at you, Firemane.)

Rootwater Matriarch - because enchanting creatures with good Auras and taking them is so satisfying.

Ancestral Recall, Black Lotus, Yawgmoth's Will, Library of Alexandria...

Just kidding. But seriously, a lot of people chose a ton of broken cards that should never get reprinted.

I like the Armageddon suggestion, they have been trying to make WW good again, to no avail. Reprinting 'Geddon certainly would do that. Or some variant that costs 4W or something.

I'd like to see good land destruction make a comeback - pillage, ice storm and plow under. Ice storm would probably never make it, though. And plow under is just ridiculous, but without eternal witness, it's not as great as it was three years ago. I'm also a big fan of ravenous baloth. I was a huge r/g ld player back in the days when it was actually good. Since then I've had to resort to rishadan port in extended, but then that rotated out... man, nothing seems to like to go my way.
