Will people be playing with shimian specter in T2? I think its a great card but its kind of weird it would come in a pre-con.

Didn't this happen with jite too?

Too slow and too easy to kill. Hypnotic isn't played for the same reason.

It's a powerful card...but it's a turn too slow for current playability. Hypnotic barely makes the cut for playability as a 3cc. But by 4cc...it's just too easy to handle come your opponents turn.

Maybe when rav shifts out and we lose a lot of the really strong burn spells we can consider this though.

it won me the game alone in a Teferi control deck I am trying out, against URtron. At that point we were both low on cards though. If it survives it is extremely powerful. Played eot with Teferi out, it easily ends the game rigth there and then, regardless of the (probable) current 5dmg pr-turn clock.

in this same deck I am also trying out Magus of the Future. It has also won me the game alone, dropped in mainphase lategame. Very powerful card.

I like both cards.

i think that it is playable in a mbc deck's side (for non-counter controll). but defenitly not main. for a controll deck they have to have a answer to it or they just lose right then and there.

I play a single copy in my Project X deck; it works wonders in mirror. also if it comes into play i can protect it with saffi and hierarch. it also does alot vs dredge and non counter control.
