I'm still working on the SB, but the deck seems really solid.
I'd like to find the slots for 4 copies of "Venser, Shaper Savant" too.
What do you think about it?

A couple of changes I would make:
First, I'd probably switch out the Akroma in favor of Hellkite, as it has synergy with the Blink and is overall more useful in your deck, IMO.
I'd probably switch out the Whispers of the Muse for another card you can use - either another Hellkite, for example, or a better draw spell in general, but that's more of a personal preference than anything else.
The Foresee's, I like, but I'd probably still run four copies of Think Twice in place of it anyways - TT gives you the opportunity of going at instant speed, and gives you the same amount of cards for one more mana anyways. You wanna save your 4 CC slots for things like Avalance Riders and whatnot.
Final votes IMO:
-1 Akroma
-1 Whispers
-4 Foresee
+2 Hellkite
+4 Think Twice
I haven't an opinion on the sideboard, but I'd definitely try and have a response for things like Dragonstorm and Dralnu, as I hear those are two heavy hitters in T2. Things like Mangaras *might* be viable, along with other cards like Pyroclasm or whatnot against smaller aggro and possibly the occasional Empty the Warrens deck.
EDIT: Those Vensers you have an eye on can also fit in the SB, too, as a possible counter to Dralnu and other control decks, and might be viable to bounce Dstorm's Lotus Blooms or something. |

Here's a list I've been using that I enjoy:
4x Avalanche Riders
1x Riftwing Cloudskate
2x Venser, Shaper Savant (just had 3x riftwing instead, before FS)
4x Lightning Angel
4x Aven Riftwatcher (gives aggro fits and comes out early)
4x Looter il-Kor (was originally Ancestral Visions, but Looters work much better)
3x Akroma, Angel of Fury (gets the nod over hellkite and Numot for being so much faster)
4x. Momentary Blink
4x Boom // Bust (running 4x flagstones and 4x expanse makes this a given)
4x Prismatic Lens (the all star, I'd run 8 if I could)
On top of that, 24 land, and 2 cards I'm playing around with that I can't decide on.
The main issue I had with blinkriders was that it was so top heavy. Most lists were filled with 4 drops, angels, dragons, etc. The choices like looter and riftwatcher give blinkriders a smooth early game. |

to DragonBuster:
I preferred Akroma to the Hellkite because a turn3 face-down Akroma that is Blinked turn4 is better than a turn8 Hellkite; however, I'll keep an eye on it.
The Whispers was good beacuse that build went often to topdeck in the middle-late game while that card could provide me some card advantage. However, I changed the list a bit and now it runs still well without the Whispers.
Foresee>Think Twice, because the scry4 ability is the best thing you can have in an aggro-combo deck like this: card-advantage is not enough, because, if possible, you have to draw the best cards you need in that situation to win (you'll agree with me that drawing a pair of lands won't help you to win the game ^^).
Finally, I'm playing in TSP Block Constructed, that's very different from Standard. There we don't have Dragonstorm and Dralnu as two of the most competitive decks, but we have Mono Red Aggro, RG Mana Ramp and UB Control (which is very different to the Standard counterpart, because it doesn't have such good counterspells like Remand and Rewind, so the deck have to rely on Cancel, Tendrils and huge finishers like Aeon Chronicler and Draining Whelk).
however, thanks for your help.
PS: I'm sorry if my English is bad, I'm still improving it.

Ha. Silly me, I got Block and T2 confused. v.v
I see your opinion on the scrying ability; like I said, I like the card; I just prefer the low cost of TT to it as UWR has a slow start, so it gives you more options in the early game. But with your addition of Sudden Shock and Careful Consideration, I guess TT is a moot point by this.
I don't quite see why you have Sudden Shock in the deck, except as a burn card against other aggro. You have the option of running 4 Judge Unworthy's instead, if you're up to catering your deck to fit the inclusion of FS. With its scrying ability, and damage to attackers and blockers (which, since the format's flooded with aggro in mono-red, WW, and RG, I don't see why it wouldn't be often usable), I think it'd be a solid choice to add in.
Your SB of Aeon Chronicler also perplexes me, but I've never really used the card in general as I have a firm belief it's overrated, so that's more of a personal issue than a hate against the card in the deck in general. I think 3 might be a little too many, though. |
