the first one is an answer to both dragonstorm and demonfire, and the second one is bad and unplayable.

Second one doesn't look amazing in T2, but when looking at older formats and better tutors+fetches, it starts to become rather amazing. In T2, it's pretty much point hate for Dragonstorm, as very few decks besides that really tutor for anything.

Eldariel, ever heard of Mystical Teachings? Extirpate? Flagstones?

Not to mention several 2nd tier cards I liked playing like Search for Tomorrows, Mwonvuli Acid-Moss, etc.

It is a good answer vs Combo and some Control decks, it's not that narrow

It's not an answer to Extirpate, the latter has Split Second.

Sure, it helps against the mentioned. However, Flagstones still has a fairly good chance to hit a Plains of some kind due to the large number of lands generally existent in decks. Not to mention, Flagstones aren't popping up very often at a point where a deck that would play Mindcensor still cares, so it's hardly an effective use for Flagstones.

Mystical Teachings, it is played in Dralnu which would never let it resolve anyways, and the deck is falling out of favour to boot.

It's good against Extirpate, but the card isn't very important to begin with. Maybe in control-control mirrors, but this is a 3-mana 2/1; if a control-deck truly has issues with it, it isn't going to live, and isn't even very effective at forcing answers since it only hits few cards and has high enough cost to make removing it with basically anything a rather effective proposal.

seht's tiger or w/e isnt that hot an answer to dstorm. Your board is just gonna get wiped instead of your face. It helps if you can burn out next turn or have wrath or something, but i heard a rumour that BDW has trouble with 4x 5/5 flyers unless they can win that turn.
