Well, I could give dates, but that would not be realistic.
At the moment, due to the limited size of the database, we only use it for league matches, and not for minis.
When we are sure we can have a bigger amount of people in the database we will use go for tournaments.

The program is completely free. The pictures that you want to use are the same as full pics from mws, so don“t use the cropped pictures. There are some mistakes on the naming of the folders. I will post a list of G.O. folder names that are different from MWS.

Thank you, but we have nico to thank for it as well, as we "worked" on it some night a few months back.
He shouted, i coded
As for the difference in folders compared to mws is concerned (is that proper english?)
Im releasing a sets.data editor next weekend.
Sets.data in the GO/data folder handles conversion for
real sets names to GO/MWS abreviations and also for the gatherer search input, used by my gatherer leech program
In short the gatherer leech program uses the sets.data file to generate databases of all the sets available with the press of a button, wich can then be converted into cards.data. It might be handy for apprentice also, so i'll release it's source next weekend with the open source package for GO, including the source for the deckbuilder and most of the needed tools to "crab" data from wizards.com
That's all for now. |

Note that the goal for me is to create a stable client that has all the good things from MWS and apprentice in one, wich, as you may figure yourself, is pretty hard to make, considering you want to satisfy two groups of players.
Love those mws vs appr flame wars on iRC
Some things i've added to GO.
-The abiltity to actually watch games in real time.
-Multiplayer (2HG) support (development is frozen on this feature as of now, but the client "code" is ready for it, just need to write some new stuff for the server)
-A main server (so no need to host yourself, although i might release a very basic server after GO is fully tested and stable) on wich you can have automated mini's and actually have judges come to your table to make a ruling.
Note: It seems that you do need a nice computer to have it all run smoothly (900Mhz+ recommended), this because the graphics are presented with raw *cough* bitmaps *cough* right now, the use of RAM is strangly less than what MWS uses, so we're good on that point |
