Never say "its only bad matchup is (X)." You will always be proven wrong, flamed, or both. Just a warning, not a criticism.

As for the original decklist, which is the only one I will comment on (people posting their decklists in someone else's deck feedback post sickens me)...

I fail to see how this deck is mono black. Don't get me wrong, it doesn't look bad, but..it's..not mbc. If it's two or more colors, it's not mono ANYTHING.

But I won't test it, I'm slowly losing interest in magic again.

In case anybody cares about actually mono black MBC, there's already a thread, although it might have died.
It's called 'MBC in Type 2' and some progress was actually made. I'm not sure if cross-referencing threads is cosidered kosher, but since the purpose is purportedly the same...

Anyway, maybe it will turn out that BW is the only viable version, but I'm hoping otherwise.

Demon Horn.... LOL. Yeah, there's some helpful advice....

Firstly, I advise you to ignore Kenbubub. His intentions are good, but his skills are bad.

Why do you have white? I've noticed in MBC decks, another colour is always added. That's cool, but you have to ask your self, why? The maindeck has Castigates. That's it. You're messing around with your mana base like a champ for 4 castigates?! Why? You're also handicapping your Tendrils AND consume spirits for.... CASTIGATE?!?!? Give me a fucking break. You already have stupors and Persecute main, what more do you want?

Yeah, I know you have enchantment removal in the side. That's great. What enchantments are you afraid of? Circle of Protection black? No one is siding that. Worship? You have a maindeck answer in Damnation + Negator, and Smallpox can be sided in if you're afraid of Worship + Vitu-Ghazi or something lame like that. Give me a break. What kind of lame meta are you playing against?

Make a choice, and stick with it. MBC is a fine choice on it's own. It doesn't need a helper colour. If you are adament about adding a 2nd colour, make it worth fucking up your mana base, cut the Tendrils and Consume Spirits, and stop calling your deck MBC.

You have an excellent lifegain option for non-white in Bottle Gnomes. You should have 4 of him in deck, both because he gains life, can ping your opp down to consume-spirit territory and because he can either chump block or stop creatures like Savannah Lions and Dark Confidant from attacking at all. If you run a Debtor's Knell in there, you can gain 3 life a turn if you want.

Here is a decklist for TRUE monoblack control:

Creatures:

2 Skeletal Vampire
1 Stronghold Overseer
2 Dimir House Guard
4 Bottle Gnomes

Noncreature permanents:

1 Debtor's Knell
1 Gauntlet of Power
1 Muse Vessel
2 Phyrexian Totem
4 Phyrexian Arena

Spells:

4 Damnation
3 Persecute
1 Nightmare Void
2 Diabolic Tutor
4 Last Gasp
4 Consume Spirit

Lands:

16 Snow-Covered Swamps
3 Scrying Sheets
3 Desert
2 Urborg, Tomb of Yawgmoth

Sideboard:

2 Roiling Horror (vs counterbased control)
4 Extirpate (vs dralnu, reanimation etc)
4 Sudden Death (vs dralnu, aggro)
2 Darkblast (vs Boros, MGA etc)
3 Shadow of Doubt (vs dragonstorm)

When all this is said... I believe both Black and black-white control is too weak overall.
