hierarch >>> baloth.... it's a choice between a 4/4 now and 4 life later, or both now....pretty obvious if you ask me.
only if you would play calciderm or spiritmonger that would change things.

You should run Sakura-Trbe elder istead of Simulacrum, he's better against aggro and can accelerate you to a 3rd turn Braids or Hierarch. You want Hierarchs, Confi's, Witness, Tribe elders, and Braids. That seems like a good creat base. Then you want some Duress and Therapy, and Deed. Also you deefintely want those vindicates in here, as they can serve as extra LD with Braids.

Braids and Her Minions
4 Dark Confidant
4 Loxodon Hierarch
4 Eternal Witness
4 Sakura-tribe Elder
2 Braids, Cabal Minion
4 Duress
3 Cabal Therapy
4 Pernicious Deed
4 Vindicate
2 Putrefy
3 Sensei's Divining Top
3 Flagstones of Trokair
4 Windswept Heath
3 Wooded Foothills
2 Overgrown Tomb
2 Temple Garden
1 Godless Shrine
4 Forest
2 Swamp
1 Plains
