For extended, i am playing Dark Boros, the deck looks like so.

//NAME: Dark Boros
1 Mountain
2 Plains
1 Blood Crypt
3 Godless Shrine
4 Sacred Foundry
4 Windswept Heath
3 Flooded Strand
4 Bloodstained Mire
3 Cabal Therapy
4 Dark Confidant
3 Isamaru, Hound of Konda
3 Firebolt
4 Lightning Helix
4 Grim Lavamancer
4 Silver Knight
3 Soltari Priest
3 Umezawa's Jitte
2 Jotun Grunt
2 Gerrard's Verdict
3 Savannah Lions
SB: 3 Isochron Scepter
SB: 4 Orim's Chant
SB: 1 Cabal Therapy
SB: 1 Gerrard's Verdict
SB: 3 Sulfuric Vortex
SB: 3 Pithing Needle

That is the sixty card list, but i REALLY want to throw a third gerrard's verdict in their, everytime it has been in my hand it is just a life saver, i am thinking about either adding a third gerrards verdict and making the deck 61, or taking out a firebolt for a gerrards verdict, or even taking out a land for a gerrards verdict, the deck is currently at 22 land.

The sideboard is also up for discussion, currently i have isochron sceptors in there to side in with orims chants against aggro decks and just auto win.
pithing needles are for affinity/no stick/ maybe aggroloam.
Sulfuric vortex is just INSANELY good against any control deck.
Cabal therapy/gerards verdict for a side against teps and any control match up.

thanks in advance.

if Gerrard's Verdict is so good for you, why wouldn’t you play 4?

61st card = noob, no not exactly. It just means your not running an optimal build. Im not sure exactly what you should cut, im kinda leaning towards firebolt also. It’s a good card but I don’t think it will break you to play fewer copies.

I would also suggest you mess with your mana base some, see if you can squize in some more basics to help in the flow match up.

No, he was being sarcastic. It happens a lot on these boards.

In all honesty, I kinda side with Russell on this one. I don't think losing 1 firebolt would be enough to butcher the deck, because the 3rd Verdict makes up for it, at least IMO it does.

I would try to keep 60, but if you do run 61, I don't think it would be enough to kill you, but the 60 card version would be much more efficient. Also, try not to cut any land. 22 should be fine for 60, you don't want to drop down to 21/60. Even though you have a low curve, you also need to hit each land drop you can.

But seriously, isn't the Jittes slowing you down? At least in Boros, they are too slow, but your are perhaps going for a more aggro-controling...

also, have you considered vindicate? Its usually an auto include for most BW decks. Maybe a decent SB at least.

Playing 61 cards is frowned upon but it doesn't significally changes your draw. It doesn't matter if you're playing 60 or 61 cards except that you have more options/threats your opponent has to deal with Smile

The more cards you play the higher is the chance to ahve to mulligan,
but +1 card doesn't matter

That would be a good change because jitte is a terrible tempo card against any R/x aggro. You pay 2 to play it. Then you pay 2 more to equip but then the guy just gets burned in response or burned before he attacks and you lost your guy and since you're aggro probly your whole turn.
