the chances that you would draw that one dragon out of a 45 card deck are exactly 1 in 45 - duh.

But as for the way you played it - I would've done exactly the same thing - you go for the win... you just got a bad beat though.

no. there are 3 hellkites in the 45 card deck. thats 1/15 for the first card and 1/22 for the second. thus a 1/330 chance of hitting 2 in a row, or about 0.3% - duh.
-_-

There are 5 total dragons left in a 45 card deck. The chance that I hit the first dragon is 5 in 45, or, 1 out of 9 times.

The chances of me hitting the second dragon are 4 out of 44, or 1 in 11 of hitting the second one.

Correct me if i'm wrong, but to get the final ratio don't you multiply both fractions together?

And if I'm wrong, make fun of my math all you want, I'm funna be a doctor in 2 years, lol.

Don't forget nCr - the chance of 2 random dragons in a row is particularly higher than the chance to draw 2 certain dragons in a row, which is what you've calculated with 1/9 * 1/11.
