Morph itself is a static ability. Morphing a creature is considered a 'special action' (term used in comp rules). This is why split second doesn't stop a creature from morphing. After it morphs, the trigger will hit the stack because split second doesn't stop those either.
The issue of static abilities doesn't even enter the equation here.
Morph as a static ability would be an issue with cards like Humility however. A resolved Humility will remove a face down 'ability to morph as long as Humility is in play. |

| I know that when you morph a card, it doesn't go on the spell.. but when the ability of the morph trigger, it doesn't go on the stack ? I do not see that in the specific rules... |

| turning a morphed creature face-up (morphing the creature) does not use the stack... i dont know exactly how to call it w/e but it "Just happens" when you pay the cost.... if i have read correctly, i believe when (example) wipe away is played, counterbalance would be triggered automatically due to a spell being played, and you should be able to reveal the top card, in hopes if countering it....correct me if im wrong please, but only if you're 100% sure b/c im sick of reading noobs posting what they think is right, only to see 6 posts down that they stand corrected |

this is true
as censorship said, morphing a creature is a special action which doesnt use the stack. triggered abilities also work vs split second such as counterbalance |

Saying "static abilities don't use the stack" is nonsensical. Static abilities are essentially every ability that isn't activated or triggered.
Glorious Anthem's static ability is "Creatures you control get +1/+1". Of course that doesn't use the stack. The ability creates a continuous effect.
Split second doesn't stop triggered abilities because triggered abilities are not played.
Split second doesn't stop turning over a morph creature because that is not an ability, it's a special action. |

| I know you can technically morph voidmage prodigy in response to sudden death, but wouldn't his ability not be able to be activated because the sudden death is on the stack and his Pay UU sac to counter a spell would not be able to be activated? |

Correct, the counter ability is a activated one just like any other, and cant be used while it is getting tooled by sudden death |
