If I remove the last time counter off a vanishing permanent using Timebender or something, do I have to sacrifice it?
If not, I just broke Calciderm even more! |

pay special attention to the last line of reminder text:

It doesn't matter how the counter is removed as long as it is removed. |

I m sure they all meant it's legal TO DO ! it was obvious that you (and they) were thinking of that, since you ask the question about A RULING ! Because we all know that Calciderm is not SANCTIONNED legal but you can still play with it as long as you ask the permission of your opponent (because you can play with the temporary patch of MWS ) ... so YOU get PWNED ! |

thorns means the untargetability of calciderm.
But with stifle/the like you don't target calciderm now do you? you target the triggered ability, so yeah i think it IS LEGAL.
cheerio! |

What if the situation is this:
You play calciderm and when the last counter is about to be removed you play sudden spoiling making them 0/2 and lose all their abilities. What will happen?
Or
Your opponent plays calciderm (4 vanishing counters) then u play sudden spoiling. After the turn how many vanishing counters is left on calciderm?
Just a noob question im just wondering, im not that good at rules sorry. |

well if you wait until the last counter is removed the triggered ability will be on the stack already so you will still have to sacrifice it.
If you play the spoiling before the counter is removed, the ability will go and you wont have to remove a counter this turn, but you will have to next turn. However if you play spoiling and remove counters using fury charm, time bug ect, you wont have to sacrifice it. |
