assistance needed

This is the most confusing program i have seen in my life, which is sad since i took an advanced placement programming class in highschool. for some reason i can not connect to games that are being hosted by others, i understand my not being able to host, but i don't get why someone who can host hosts a game and i can not join it. is there a program simular to hamachi able to help with this or should i just stick with apprentice?

You can always connect on any of the available servers (and no, I don't know any servers since I usualy do the hosting myself), and on the server you can create a game, much like opening a table on modo.

Here's the servers I've used:

mwsplay.net - most popular server for MWS. Has the heaviest traffic, so it crashes frequently
mwsgames.net - used to be the major alternative, but connection issues has plagued it
pavouk.square.cz - people are most likely to use this in this league
mwstal.no-ip.biz - also used this recently
davey79.****.com - hosted by another league, but normally has a good connection (EDIT: apparently you're going to have to ask about this one from somewhere other than these forums...)

It is also possible the person at the other end is a moron and is telling you to connect even though they are behind a firewall. Try someone else.
Also possible your Virus protection is blocking MWS's internet access, those would be my 2 most likely places to start troubleshooting.
