There are six known cards so far. Check them out at http://forums.mtgsalvation.com/showthread.php?t=62064

Vanishing seems very similar to fading, good thing it's coming back Smile
And also, red bounce?! What more off color cards can we expect then Confused
Circle of Distress looks like a decent aggro slower.

Then why does vanishing say: 'At the beginning of your upkeep, remove a time counter from it. When you remove the last, sacrifice it.'

And fading says: 'At the beginning of your upkeep, remove a fade counter from this permanent. If you can’t, sacrifice the permanent'

Fading lives one turn longer then vanishing, if they have the same ammount of counters.

Ya, they had to water down Fading 'cause it was format-defining last time it was legal![/sarcasm]

I've been expecting single color split cards for a while now...

Hmm anyone think that brigand goes in boros? It seems like a cheap quick 5 dmg and that fits boros mold.

very interesting cards. What i'm really looking towards seeing though is the wrb dragon and the ruw dragon (based on current information those combinations seem most likely for 2 more) since they both already have a deck they may be easily slotted into.

Oh and do i sense wizards trying to make black control viable?

quick note, vaniching is better then fading because it uses time counters. so it looks like clockspinning and that random artifact creature just got usful.

You mean Fading, not phasing.

As for the whole fading/vanishing, maybe vanishing is the new twist on fading, Plus it also is good with clockspinning/time bug, but I am sure they will print other cards to go with it as well.

It´s strictly worse then shock since you can only damage a creature.

pwned lol!

Anyway keldon with haste would probably be good in boros but without haste I don't think it's even worth a SB slot against control decks with WoG and a lot of removal.
