http://dictionary.reference.com/browse/learnt

It's an acceptable, though admittedly dialectical (or old-fashioned, depending on where you grew up speaking English) form of the past tense or past participle. It's probably more typically American, where we devoice consonants after nasals and when they're intervocalic (that means in between vowels). Boddle. Liddle. Learnt.

If you want to be a spelling or grammar Nazi, at least be right before you shoot off your mouth. Spelling is arbitrary and fluid, especially in English anyway. And our "official" grammar is an artificial import from a lanuage without syntactic meaning.

Take that, prescriptivists!

You may be correct in your technical interpretation but after reading the poll question "Have you dont anything good with your 2006" I think the grammar nazi's captured the intent or I should say lack thereof.

I learned that there are actually people who take "The Colbert Report" seriously and not as satire.

I also learned that slapping the shit out of those people is extremely satisfying.

Finally, I learned that Aethermage's Touch + Momentary Blink is not a good combo, no matter how hard you try to make a deck that proves to the contrary.
