Okay I've just aquired this deck in real life and have been testing it alot. I've run into two problems as far as bad matchups... True believer = gg Null Rod = gg and pithing needle is hard to work around when its set to sensei's divining top.
I need help making this more solid. I understand I could put in black lotus and other power but I don't have the money so please be reasonable with suggestions.
Lands
4 Glimmervoid
1 Island
4 Polluted Delta
3 Seat of the Synod
1 Tolarian Academy
4 Underground Sea
3 Vault of Whispers
Spells
4 Brainstorm
1 Chrome Mox
2 Dark Ritual
1 Demonic Tutor
3 Future Sight
2 Gilded Lotus
4 Helm of Awakening
1 Lotus Petal
1 Mana Vault
4 Sensei's Divining Top
4 Serum Visions
1 Sol Ring
1 Tendrils of Agony
4 Thirst For Knowledge
1 Tinker
4 Duress
1 Vampiric Tutor
1 Yawgmoth's Will
Sideboard please help?
A couple ideas I already contemplated was to mainboard force of will or rebuild. The other is to mainboard Darksteel for alternate win condition.
Please test this deck people and let me know what you feel is weak/could be improved.

| Yeah you need to add good cards to this deck as in probably p9, mana crypt, counters (drains, forces), thirst for knowledge instead of thoughtcast, good tutors like mystical, grim, or something good. Your sideboard needs to be completely scrapped because in all honesty it sucks. I bet you won't win anything with this deck ever. T1 isn't something you can throw together a board for because the main thing about t1 is the decks that do well aren't bad. I hate to be harsh but this is just what you need to do to do well in t1. You do realize most tournaments that are played in t1 in the US are 10 proxy so you don't have to get p9. It still is expensive but you have to make a good deck that can deal with true/null rod or else ur screwed because lots of decks could throw rod out and u/w fish is the main budget t1 deck. |

| most t1 tourneys lets you proxy 9 cards, dont worry about the p9s, just make the deck with them. |

Do not post here if your going to say "use power nine" or "This deck sucks". Please be smart and give good suggestions or changes. Not "Just proxie them".
Aside from that I was thinking of putting in Cunning wish and sticking tendrils and Brainfreeze on the sideboard so I can make room for more solutions to problems that arise. |

Thats a good start... now tell me. What would you extract out of this deck to put in 4 force of will. The deck is so tight that I have a hard time figuring out where to put it. |

I have never seen a real T1 tourney that lets you do that, thats retarded. Why would anyone need them then if you could do that?
FoW should be main deck for sure... |

Well if it should be main decked for sure. What would you take out to put force of will in. (I feel like I'm repeating myself) |

Proxy tournaments are not DCI sanctioned. Non-proxy ones are. Here in Italy most tournaments are non-proxy and sanctioned. On the other hand, in USA most tournaments are proxy ones, but with a limited amount of proxy (around 5 if I'm right). |

| I'm not totally 100% on the viability of running Necropotence in this deck but I've been contemplating it. What do you guys think? I have had alot better match ups with duress mainboard... so now I need a way to combo faster... I think necropotence will do it. |
