Serious connection problem

When trying to connect to my opponent during a recent mini I encountered a serious problem with connecting. It occured with pavouk, through this site and through direct ip.

The program worked as normal until I got connected with the opponent, then it "crashed": MWS was still running, my opponent saw me as connected, I heard the sounds when he shuffled and threw dice etc, but I didn't see anything of this. Instead there was a gray square in the area where the "load deck" box used to be, and I could see the standard background (with the playing area, although with the gray box, and the right hand menus), but I couldn't interfere with the program in any way. After a while, windows would inform me that MWS was not responding.

I've recently installed MWS on this computer and played a few matches yesterday without these problems. The problem is quite clearly interfering with my ability to participate in MWS minis. I haven't tried single matches yet.

MWS doesn't know if you're participating in a mini/single match or if your playing a casual game...so that has nothing to do with the problem...

um...mws's connections suck...so ya, use it, but be ready for it to crash
