WUR Solution-Trinket, as played by Gabriel Nassif (and Pollo :p). How could the deck/sideboard be changed? How could the matchups be improved? Discuss! |

| As someone looking to head out to some PTQs this year, I'm expecting that Ritual Desire and Boros are going to be the two major decks to beat. How good is this matchup against those two? |

My first impression is that your Desire matchup is relatively good...if you draw Meddling Mage. Counterbalance can also destroy a hand that leans heavily on cabal ritual.
Boros is anywhere from fair to good, but seems draw dependant. Silver Knight is obviously awesome in that matchup, as is Fire/Ice (easy 2 for 1 a great deal of the time). Lightning Helix/Jitte help you race, so yeah, probably pretty good. |

This is the version I am currently testing.I really like the addition of Lightning Angel. He is an awesome weilder of the Jitte and an additional Flyer. He can Block almost all of Boros and they have to waste 2 burns to kill it. Smother doesn't hurt him either. With the amount of Fetch lands you almost always have a way to play him too.

| I have actually put stifle back in, but only in the sideboard. I have only needed it against the Desire matchup and sometimes it can help against goblins. I just don't think I need it main deck. But it is definetly a sideboard card worth having. |

Well, I don't understand why ppl are removing Stifles Either. It's not like you have the choice. Stifle is this deck's MVP without it, the deck is just a pile of decent cards. Plus, in the current meta, there's so many degenerate things stifle can do.... |

Like Stifling the activation of a fetchland... that is why Stifle will be my favorite Extended card for a good few years. |

| Ok, Lightning angel is a must have in this deck it normally counters larger threats like hierarch and baloth and also beats aggro by swinging in and blocking, most aggros decks can't deal with it at all. |

I like adding 2-3 Muddle the Mixture (either sideboard or main) - this can replace or be in addition to Stifle
Muddle allows you to counter Wrath of God or other annoying instants/sorceries or search for a 2 casting cost card you need (Jitte, nuke, creature, counterbalance, etc.)
I have pulled Exalted Angels out for Lightning Angel - by adding Meekstone I don't have to worry about 3+ power creatures (Ice works well with Meekstone).
The 3 casting cost spot is weak so I added 3 Court Hussar.
Here is what I am running - with above noted changes.
Trinket-Balance Angel
Spells: 36
1 Pyrite Spellbomb
1 Pithing Needle
1 Engineered Explosives
1 Leonin Bola
2 Sensei's Divining Top
3 Counterbalance
2 Muddle the Mixture
4 Lightning Helix
3 Fire/Ice
2 Umezawa's Jitte
3 Meddling Mage
3 Silver Knight
3 Court Hussar
4 Trinket Mage
3 Lightning Angel
Land/Mana: 24
2 Chrome Mox
1 Steam Vents
2 Sacred Foundry
3 Hallowed Fountain
1 Polluted Delta
1 Windswept Heath
2 Wooded Foothills
4 Flooded Strand
1 Ancient Den
1 Great Furnace
1 Academy Ruins
2 Plains
2 Island
1 Mountain
Sideboard: 15
1 Meddling Mage
1 Pithing Needle
1 Tormod's Crypt
1 Engineered Explosives
1 Meekstone
2 Kataki, War's Wage
3 Dwarven Blastminer
2 Stifle
3 Disenchant
How about adding 2 Chrome Mox? Seems like a good idea. I removed Seat of the Synod and 1 Sensei's Divining Top for 2 Chrome Mox - will test.

| Why only 1 Flagstones of Trokair? The whole point of it being legendary is so you can thin ur deck of lands once 2 comes into play. |
