| Quote: | What is 3cb?
3-Card Blind (3CB) is a very unique game. The rules are as follows
Your deck is composed of 3 cards, all of which start in your hand.
You have no library (technically, the library exists, but starts at 0 cards) and no sideboard (Wishes fetch nothing).
Random effects always go in your opponent's favour.
You can see your opponent's hand, so you can always make the best possible play.
You don't lose as a result of not being able to draw a card.
You will play each opponent twice, once going first, once going second.
Decks cannot force an opponent to discard more than 1 card in a turn.
For each win, you score 3.
For each draw, you score 1.
For each loss, you get nothing.
Other than the aforementioned, EVERYTHING IS HANDLED EXACTLY LIKE A REAL GAME OF MAGIC!
New players are recommended to read this: http://mtgsalvation.com/article/5/three-card-blind-a-whole-different-format-part-/ |
To make an entry, PM your deck to GRAH!!!!!! in the following format:
Subject: 3cb Tournament Entry or 3cb Tournament Revision
Deck Name
Card #1
Card #2
Card #3
(For those who don't know, you don't actually play, you just send the decks and, because of the way the rules work, it's easy for me to compute results.)

1&4 (Plateau, Lavaborn Muse, Swords to Plowshares )
vs
5 (Badlands, Mishra's Factory, Blazing Specter)
Current: 3-3
Suggested: 6-0
5 can't drop their Blazing Specter without having it StoPped and the Muse beats the Factory. |

| Yeah, but when 5 is on the play, it drops Specter turn 3 before we have 3 mana to STP with. If we pitch STP, then we'll have to discard Muse the next turn anyway. If we pitch Muse, we can't stop Factory. |

6 (Undiscovered Paradise, Eater of Days, Dromar's Charm)
vs
7 (Island, Morphling, Back to Basics)
Current: 3-3
Suggested: 6-0
While BtB will stop Paradise from untapping, it will still return to it's owners hand, coming into play untapped again. So, you can easily go up to 7 Mana to counter Morphling and drop Eater.
*edit: Also, i don't quite understand how 17 (Gorge, Sanctuary, Mountain) wins games after Sanctuary comes into play. Someone here who could explain it to me? |

decks
2. sc4rs - Braid of Fire.dec - Mountain, Braid of Fire, Demonfire
6. Lambda - Verschlinger der Tage - Undiscovered Paradise, Eater of Days, Dromar's Charm
current 4-1
suggested 3-3
on turn 3 if goes 1st deck 6 has mana to counter braid of fire
so it counters braid if it played before turn 7 or on turn 7 drops eater with counter backup wich counters demonfire or braid of fire and kills deck 2 turn before it has 9 mana to kill eater with demonfire |
