The ideas always been played around with making, a ML set with the players and everything, but I really wouldn't mind doing it.

We had a post on the old forums that showed like what would you be if you were a mtg card, and far too many fake unglued type cards got posted.

So, I dunno if anyone wants to help me actually make a set but...what would you be if you were a card? Real card not unglued like?

As for the set, it would need like a creature type per color. No gold cards.
and at least 3 mechanics... any ideas?

Ok, so the set is underway...thanx to your submissions. Keep em up.
Heres the total card numbers so far

131 cards with a total of

*Note: these are 5 color gold, so I'm allowing them.

And heres the mechanics:

ProCounter this spell, if you don't control a legendary permanent.

Flame - XWhenever [CARDNAME] comes into play, you may pay its Flame cost and lose X life, if you do [CARDNAME] deals X damage to target creature or player.

RogueThis creature comes into play, Put X +1/+1 counters on {creature}. Where X is its toughness minus the number of other creatures you control.

FlipWhenever you play [CARDNAME], flip a coin. If heads [cardname] gains this ability.

When The Unknown comes into play, counter target spell or destroy target non-black creature.

Well we're going to need some commons, since I'm no legend by any means on M-L, I better just be a regular old utility critter.

psst: i think the big names in M-L should be legendary


Elvish God [G]

Legendary Creature - Elf Rogue

Elvish God costs 2 more to play for each creature type among creatures you control.
When Elvish God comes into play, put a Tribe counter on him for each creature you control.
Creatures get +1/+1 for each Tribe counter on them.
Remove a Tribe counter from Elvish God: Put a Tribe counter on target creature.

that seems like what i would want to be. i can be a 2/2 for 1 mana first turn, or be some sweet pump later on. plus you need to be tribe set to play me.

not broken by any means, and well-balanced in power.

Mass O Ass 2RRR
Legendary Human Wizard

Intelligence

You may sacrifice 2 lands rather than paying Mass O Ass's mana cost.

Whenever an opponent plays a blue spell, counter it and
put a drain counter on Mass O Ass.

When Mass O Ass has 5 drain counters, Sacrifice Mass O Ass

2RR: Remove all counters from Mass O Ass

Added Intelligence, that E.G. suggested, seemed to go with this card, all though, now it seems way overpowered

Manipulator gets +X/+X, where X is the number of flying creatures in play.
Other cretures get-X/-0, where X is the number of non-flying creatures in play.
UU, T: Counter target spell. If it is countered this way, put it into its owner's hand. You lose 4 life.

On brainburst I made a card representing me and this kiiinda rips off that, but whatever.

Legendary Creature - Human Knight

Haste, fear, first strike.

At the begining of your upkeep, sacrifice a creature.
Whenever Paellin, Fallen Paladin is put into the Graveyard from play, Return it to play and lose 5 life.

MY Suggestions for Mechanics (not official... yet =P):

Flame X (As you play ~this~, you may pay an additional X. If you do, ~this~ deals X damage to target creature or player and X to you.)

NOTE: The X in Flame will be a set number.

Rant (When ~this~ comes into play, you may give it your choice of flying, trample, or first strike.)

NOTE: I picked those three abilites for balance purpose.

Intelligence (Whenever ~this~ becomes blocked, you may remove it from the game. Return it to play under its owner's control at end of turn.)

NOTE: I thought this card could be on cards that have Sparkmage Apprentice-like abilities (small effects that happen on come into play) or just on any card. It would be cool.

haste really makes the card i think.
I'd drop power by one befor i drop haste.

Yeah, I was dropped aroud 6-30 times as a child.

This world will run a whole lot smoother once you little people learn to worship me.
