First of all i have to say that i have lots of fun with this deck and i am doing quite well with it. I first of all think that the list can be improved but iam not sure what to do out. All those cards are quite important but the counters but they often save me. I dont play counterspells cause i dont want to need 2 blue mana. The ideas are well known. Mindslaver + Academy Ruins. TNN, and gift. But i can afford them quite fast. Thats all folks. Say what you think. All comments welcome.

hmmmm, i don't think u actually need the TNN, cause u will in by decking no matter what. on that note, there is a UW tron list similar to yours. GU sounds good though. Gifts is a cool idea. i think u need more card draw//counters, and then hit with gifts for academy ruins, living wish, mindslaver, and another thing. Then u get your ruins/slaver combo out and win by decking. The land excell is good, and i would drop the TNN and things associated with it for more land excell and wrath of god for board clearer

do you realy think tron is better? i dont think so. You need different lands. It cuts your entire mana base down. And 2 cloudstales are already 4 mana. With the card bringers i have "11" cloudstales in deck. Dunno thats just my oppinion.

Edit:
The problem with mindlsavers combo is that i coast 10 mana not 9 like tnn and no matter what i get i auto win. Thats why i didnt needed more cardrawers till now. I usualy have on starthand at least one of them, TNN, gifts, or Mindslaver. And i didnt wanted to be so weak vs graveyard hating things. I ll maybe try it without tnn. But then the name of the decks away Wink .

Ah and to gifts. it realy depens on the situation what i call it for. I often take eternal witness, Living wish, Cloudstale, Academy Research. They often give me the 2 lands. And like i said before i normally have already at least one combo on hand. If they dont give me the lands its just the same. I can get them. And tnn is also a nice card to search for the most players send it to grave cause they fear the auto death, if they dont run counters.

Very cool deck, and very creative I like it alot, but I'm not too sure about the mana base, does it work? If it does tell me a bit more about it because I really want to make this myself.

have you considered Vesuva main board? you only have 3 main board post, but 2-3 vesuva allows you to draw more. Cloudpost comes into play tapped anyways.

I didnt had big problems with the mana base. I think about just putting 1-2 more lands in cause i need to mulli from time to time cause of having only 1 land on hand. But The cloudstales do a great job. I give now an example for a good start(for mana base). I have 1 cloudstale on hand play it first round. Then i play a forest an play living wish of sylvan scrying round 2 catching another cloudstale. Round3 play the second cloudstale. ANd let your mana open for countering. Round 4 play another land and having 6 mana. then there are several things that can happen.

1.
If you have Gifts on hand let all mana untaped. If the enemy plays a spell which should be countered counter it and play gifts. What you search for gifts depen on what you having on hand. But you should look for a 3.th cloudstale cause they give you then 9 mana. Then it depends on tnn or mindslaver.

2. You have mindslaver on hand. Just play him and next round use it too gain another round seeing what he has on hand maybe destroy some of his creatures or just blockade him.

3. badest thing is when you have tnn ithout any other landbringers, or gifts or slaver. Then you will have a lot of counters on hand. Just counter as long you draw something of this and then finish him off.

Of course that was very constructed but i think it shows quite well how the manabase works. If you dont have cloudstale on hand depends on the deck. Vs aggro its 90% better keep mana open for counter and wait till you get the first cloudstale cause, the chanche that you draw it is better without searching for it(scrying). Dont forget that remand let you draw. And the enemy is blockaded for several rounds. I usualy wait then till round 4 and counter each round a spell. THen i search for the first cloudstale if i didnt draw one till then. 5 round play it search for another. 7th round you have enough mana and with wisely countering you should stay alive till then.

Vs combo it totaly depends on the deck and the situation.

Didnt played vs control decks till now.

Um....Mindslaver, Tooth and Nail......academy ruins? What ever happened to casting Tooth to get a Bringer of the White Dawn then returning Slaver every turn? Also, you only have to pay the activation cost. Not Academy Ruin's 1U and then 10 for Mindslaver + activation. Not to mention you get to draw cards, not just a repeated Mindslaver.

when i cast tooth i sudden kill the enemy. I also had once the bringer of white dawn lockdown but the bringer is weak to destruction and ruins and Slaver arent realy. OF course 4 mana is better then 12 But for tnn or bringer you anyway need 9. And i get 9 mana too 3 cloudstale with 3 additional mana i win Wink And that i cant draw cards doesnt matter cause i just mill him down with the lockdown.

you need teferi.... more cloudposts and vesuvas, and 2 more creatures maindeck including 1 darksteel colosus

ive had this deck built for a week and a half

without tron lands, i would not play 4 mindslaver. it requires too much mana for its activation and effect. also how fast does your deck run? tooth should go off on turn 4-5 every time. i would say to play more creatues in the main, and not rely on living wish to get what u need to win. i would rethink some of the deck and work with different matchups such as affinity and other aggro decks in the format and be sure you go off fast enough.
