This lie is all I needed to read.

Your deck is a godawful version of a good deck. Adapt or lose.

18 lands + Kiki-Jiki? Phyrexian Soulgorger? Ball Lightning? Goblin Goon? Goblin King?

And only two vials?

I'm not going to go further.

I realize my first post was a putzish, but

Not a lie dingleberry.

That or literally 99% of the 1.5 decks I've played in the last 2 weeks with apprentice have been total crap.

And yes a lot has happened since homelands i see (they banned Necro for one).

The sideboard needs work (a lot of it). Which is why the post. Thanks all for being soooo constructive...

and I like the sparks. easy 3. fast and sac em for the GG after damage.

those guys are assholes.

honesstly your on the right track, right colors, right creature type...wrong cards.

goblins have had ALOT of advancement through the years

http://sales.starcitygames.com/deckdatabase/displaydeck.php?DeckID=19312

Vial Goblins
A Legacy deck, by Takuya Natsume
2nd place at a Miscellaneous tournament in Kobe, Japan on 2006-10-22
As reported at http://www.wizards.com/default.asp?x=mtgevent/ptkob06/legdecks
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Maindeck:

Artifacts
4 Aether Vial

Creatures
4 Gempalm Incinerator
4 Goblin Lackey
4 Goblin Matron
4 Goblin Piledriver
1 Goblin Pyromancer
4 Goblin Ringleader
1 Goblin Sharpshooter
4 Goblin Warchief
4 Mogg Fanatic
3 Siege-gang Commander
1 Skirk Prospector

Basic Lands
8 Mountain

Lands
4 Bloodstained Mire
2 Rishadan Port
4 Wasteland
4 Wooded Foothills

Sideboard:
3 Pithing Needle
3 Flametongue Kavu
4 Pyrostatic Pillar
3 Pyroblast
2 Shattering Pulse

use this a spring board to see what your doing right and what your doing wrong. your not to far from the truth just using some sub-par tricks (3 Spark Elementals
2 Phyrexian Soulgorger (Ballstomp)
3 Greater Gargadon (Ballstomp)

and some out dated spells (raging goblin, ball lightning)

and overlooked the power of several cards (warchief) and undervauled soem cards in numbers (vial and piledriver)

play this netdeck for a few matchs and go form there, the net is a tool use it wisely.
