The idea of the deck is to spuspend gargadon and after five turns play epicenter, sacraficing in response 5 lands to take the rest gargadon counters off, leaving no lands on the table on any side and with a 9/7 creature running. the rest of the cards is just to live long enough for the combo to appear. I added a few damge cards that would kill everything that comes out allowing also to draw for epicenter to assure the combo. force spikes should secure the gargadon from any one mana removal. after all it shoul only take two turns to finish up the opponent. the deck deck hasnt been tested yet, but i would like to know if its in your oppinion worth spending time

Mana base:
11 Island
4 Mountain
4 Steam Vents
4 Shivan Reef
Directs:
4 Fire // Ice
4 Electrolyze
4 Prophetic Bolt
Support:
4 Cerebral Vortex
4 Boomerang
Counters:
4 Remand
4 Mana Leak
4 Force Spike
Main Combo:
4 Epicenter
4 Greater Gargadon

I sort of like Greater Gargadon because of its rogue factor. Maybe you can consider putting in some sacrifice fodder? Like Solemn Simulacrum or Rukh Egg?

I'm just throwing ideas, basically. If you are really going to build around the Greater Gargadon-Epicenter engine then perhaps consider Obliterate?

Wldfire is also cool...... u remove all the creatures and when u are about to sac for wildfire, just sac it for gargadon, and most of time u will have only gargadon in table to win the game for you

One thing to point out is you don't want to sacrifice everything in response to Obliterate. If you do, Greater Gargadon comes into play...only to be OBLITERATED?! "You ******** (insert random profanity)!" cries the GG as it goes into the graveyard along with everyone else.

-1 cancel + 1 counterspell...
and even then I think the list isn't optimal at all.

as to obliterate: no one tells to sacrafice all pernaments to remove all counters, u could leave one so gargadon comes into play your next turn (its got haste anyway), and obliterate cant be countered so its a very sure combo id say[/quote]

A slightly different idea would be to use the idea of Balancing Act and Greater Gargadon together....so basically Balancing Tings with a different finisher....makes it less supceptible to graveyard hate. Or Split Second for that matter. (aka sudden death or sudden shock on Anurid Brushopper....kinda hard to do 7)
