NO. Except for when neoshroom was working on it 2-3 years ago. |

I've still got the old Appr2.0 somehow...and I've been able to figure out at least how to keep it updated.
And some of the features you guys are asking for are in MWS...interestingly enough.
MWS isn't crashy if you have a computer that can handle it...I know since I used to have a computer that couldn't, then I got a computer that can. |

darkman, it all depends on what your complete configuration is. I have run it on different very low end computers (and I am talking 450 MHz here) and it gave no problem, while on a comp with the same spec it crashed. Otoh, I ran it on computers with 1 GB mem, 256 M vid, 3GHZ processor and couldn't get it running stable. I think that that is a flaw in programming, not a problem in the computer, seeing that the rest of the programs I installed on it ran like lightning.

Hi. I'm the author of Mindless Automaton, the Apprentice-clone-for-Linux that was mentioned at one point in this thread.
After years of stalling, I'm finally announcing the first public release of Scroll Rack. This is no longer vaporware. You can actually go and download it and play it *right now*.
The URL is http://scrollrack.sourceforge.net/.
It's still missing some noticable features (multi-player, graphical deck editor, and sealed deck). But it has a lot of the features that people have requested:
- Multi-platform. (Windows and Unix, and close to working on Mac.)
- Wishes.
- Battle of Wits
- Encryption to make cheating harder
- Two players behind firewalls can send messages through a Jabber IM server to play against each other
- Open source
I'm just announcing this today. I don't think anybody has downloaded it yet. You can be the first!
Tell your friends. |

I've started work on the Deck Editor for scrollrack and i'm impressed so far, i encourage anyone who has experience with java to join up and lend a hand.
The deck editor will initially only only load and save decks in apprentice format, but will eventually be setup to load decks from most MtG apps
Sal, did you get my email re: the patch? |
