I've been playing the same Counterpost deck for over a year now, and was looking for some ideas to make it more efficient. This is what I have so far:
1x Morphling
4x Counterspell
4x Force of Will
4x Forbid
4x Nevinyrral's Disk
2x Wrath of God
4x Swords to Plowshares
2x Disenchant
2x Stroke of Genius
4x Impulse
3x Gerrards Wisdom
2x Gaea's Blessing
2x Kjeldoran Outpost
4x Thawing Glacier
4x Wasteland
7x Island
5x Plains
2x Forest
If you have any advice on how to make the deck more effective, please let me know, Thank You! |

Wow where to start...
First off drop Wastelands they do less then nothing for you being a super slow control deck, the MOST Glaciers you would ever want would be 2, Blessing and Wisdom are terrible drop them and Green all together unless you plan on putting in Accumulated Knowledges and Intuition which might make Blessing worth keeping. 4x Wrath of God in place of extra Disks. More Win Conditions (think about Exalted Angels) perhaps add Moats and cut Posts as Moat owns most decks. Just some thoughts Counter-Post is hardly top tier at any rate. |

| Sadly, the best way to improve CounterPost is to take out the Posts. They just aren't any good in an environment with Wasteland. A good uncounterable win condition is Decree of Justice. Play that. |

| This deck cannot work without Crucible of Worlds. |

i really like to see people still making casual decks instead of always tournament decks... And this is a nice casual deck, fun to play, and not too frustrating for the opponent. Indeed more WoG's and less disks, maybe 1 soldevi digger instead of the blessings. But even that is not necessary unless u play multiplayer. Life from the Loam and lodestone bauble ar good enough to return your outposts to your hand or top of the deck in case disaster strikes. 1 or 2 decree's of justice can help you too. Moat, propaganda, island sanctuary,... U will need an enchantment like these to protect u, only WoG's and disks is not enough. and i think whispers of the muse might be better then impulse, since it is better in the late and mid game where ur deck will shine, and impulse is more for the fast decks... The other people here are right about it's tournament worthy-ness though... It will never win in a legacy tournament... But u will have fun with it in casual |
