| Is there ANY working site that has MWS Pics, every set, through CS. and no MWSData, Volcanic Hammer and the usual sites are NOT working |

thats not true, im downloading the whole day, some pictures may not be dled, but the server itself is online
you just get about 90% of what you want... but i think thats ok, you get those hig quality pictures(most) for nothing than a bit time... |

there are times that its offline. you started downloading in a good day i guess.
the download is slower then a normal download if you know where to look. |

| yeah, the server seems to go offline also. i hope it will work soon, but for now i start uploading to a different site. |

Alright, I need some help. Everytime I download the newest thing from slightlymagic, It tries to open it with adobe acrobat reader, and I havn't the foggiest what win Rar is.
What is win rar, what does it do, how do I get it? what are the steps once I get it going?
...this picture business is complicated stuff...or at least, annoying and time consuming stuff. |

Windows can make and handle Zip files. [well XP can]
WinRar: A Rar and Zip Archiver
WinAce: An Ace, Rar and Zip Archiver
The point of these programs is to compress multiple files, creating one smaller more manageable file.
Once you install WinRar or WinAce, it should asssociate itself with the pic files.
Hope this helps. If not I'll try to explain properly.
My personal preference is WinAce; in my experience Ace files are the smallest, be careful though, its easy to switch languages from English to German [or vice versa]
Your Adobe problem should resolve once you have installed an archiver. |

About pics.slightlymagic.net... It is online and it contains all the pictures. But it is slow. Why? Because it has limited 2mbit bandwidth and it is overloaded (600GB monthly traffic). Download the latest version of MWSPA, set retries count to some big number, run it and go to sleep  |
