Any input on how T1 will or will not be affected by the new set?

Any brokenness to speak of?

I see this set as made to affect T2, thoguh I do dig the split second cards...

most people play duress before they play tendrils anyway but yes, trickbind and maybe some of the split second cards, and the red and then green destroy artifact instant with flashback should be playable

Neither of you guys have any idea what your talking about. Normally they don't cast duress before going off because they have at least one Force, perhaps two to back up incase of Stifle...which is now non-existant. Shatter? wtf? no one in their right mind plays shatter, it sucks balls in Vintage. The usual go-to spell for artifact hate in Vintage is Rack and Ruin, Kataki, Energy Flux, and Null Rod. The split second artifact removal dosn't change the format in the slightest. Not to mention that other for Oath of Druids, green is nearly completly absent from Vintage.

The only card out of Time Spiral that immideatly calls attention is Trickbind. For obvious reasons. That dosn't mean it can't be dealt with, but a deck that mains four copies is obvioulsy going to beat Tendrils. I think Wizards did this specificly to help UW Fish. It fits in perfect.

One thing's for sure, the Split Second cards are going to pwn Extended. Bye bye Scepter, Tog, Mongrel, Werebear, etc.

Pretty much every major player has a card aimed right at it's head now! Sure, it's only four cards out of sixty, but added with other hate, this stuff makes a huge impact.

And yeah, the new Stifle is about the only thing I can see having much of an immediate impact on Vintage.

If people still play burn (I know I do), then rift bolt is nice.

maybe the suspend balance, ancestral recall, wheel of fortune, or black lotus cards might warrant a bit of testing. Okay okay, suspend balance blows, but whatever.

Trickbind is good.... the set doesnt have that much of an impact, obviously, but what do you expect? Vintage is a massive format.

Korsan grisp is good for control decks as a sidecard vs oath at least its played mutch. And maybe also some 2 Sudden shocks or something ill see sometimes some fish decks running 2-3 psyatogs dont ask me why Smile depends on what you facing and a card which will absolutley will see play is academy ruins. dunno why you all forgot this card. It fits perfectly in slaver control (you maybe say it is to expensive to reanimate slaver each time thats maybe right but with welder you just reanimate the 0 mana artifact that rebrings your slaver) I actually working on a slaver build with it Smile
Theres another card which maybe could be played but dont just flame me now plz Smile I think Magus of the Jar isnt bad in Vintage cause the most people dont play that mutch Creature killers and its actually the same as Memory Jar cause normally you wait anyway one round to use it to have all mana open too cast just as many cards as possible. But its bader anyway of course. But some specifiy deck !!MAY!! play it. Like i said i dunno a deck now which could run it but MAYBE there will be one.

And no suspend card (i hope this was ironic) will see serious play in vintage? WHo can wait that long to use this effects?Everyone will prefer a thirst fact or recall ove ancestral vision just cause in vintage you can cast all those cards on turn 1 in vintage. Wheel of fate??? wheel of fortune, Windfall, Timetwister, Timespiral all those cards kick ass ways more than that.

Restore balance wait 6 rounds???????? in vintage you need heavy control to stay alive 6 rounds or just bad draws. And then you had it on start hand lol, restore balance ways to bad for t2 then how use it in t1?

The supsend lotus... 3 rounds on starthand is too mutch in t2 its ok but in t1 you probably loose before it hits the table. And in round three if you play with art mana you have enough or null rod or something is in play Smile
