4 mental note
4 brainstorm
4 sword to plaowshares

i have to explain that in my metagame there are lots of crucible/wasteland players and i must be prepare for that, i know that they must be better play all non basic lands but 50% decks are still and i dont wanna play vscrucible/erial.
no more explanations, i dont like too muck play mental note, but i think that there isnt any faster 1 cost spell that help so much to take 7 cards in graveyard and 4 pithing need in main deck seems crazy, is the card i wanna take out, but i want to win against goblins and this card give that.
thanks for your help, all idead are welcome
pd:

I really don't understand your problem.... you're playing 4 Needles and 3 Stifle MB.... I think that should be able to handle Wasteland.
Wayne... here is the Version from Helmut Summersberger which won the GP Lille (YEAH! An Austrian Guy won a GP *gg*)
4 Brainstorm
4 Daze
4 Mental Note
3 Counterspell
4 Force of Will
4 Serum Visions
3 Lightning Bolt
4 Werebear
4 Nimble Mongoose
4 Meddling Mage
2 Fire/Ice
2 Pithing Needle
3 Volcanic Island
4 Flooded Strand
4 Polluted Delta
3 Tundra
4 Tropical Island
Sideboard:
2 Divert
4 Chill
2 Red Elemental Blast
1 Naturalize
3 Tormod's Crypt
3 Wasteland
You see, he really didn't care about Wastelands.... 2 Needles are enouph... if you won't draw them just counter the Cruicible ^^

you should play fire//ice for sure cause it beats goblins pretty well im sure ^_^ change stifle with pyroclasm!!! pyroclasm will win you games against goblins end of story...even if there arent alot of goblins decks there its the deck to beat in legacy alone with high tide and theshold....therefore...play pyro so i would add red for pyro and fire/ice
in my opinion lighting bolt isnt worth a spot

| Explain what all the md stifles are about. Worship is just too good not to run. |

Wow, is this really the only thread about Threshold? The name isn't even spelled right. I am slightly offended. I love this deck like it were my own lovechild. Well..here is my U/G/W Threshold list.
Mana 18
2 Windswept Heath
2 Polluted Delta
3 Flooded Strand
3 Tundra
3 Tropical Island
1 Nantuko Monestery
1 Forest
2 Island
1 Plains
Critters 13
4 Nimble Mongoose
4 Werebear
3 Meddling Mage
2 Mystic Enforcer
Other spells 30
4 Force of Will
4 Brainstorm
4 Swords to Plowshares
4 Serum Visions
4 Counterspell
3 Daze
4 Mental Note
2 Engineered Explosives
This deck is AMAZING |

I played and loved Threshold.
But then I switched to Angel Stompy, and have since been much happier.
For the people that test Threshold alot, will find that the ugW version is better than the ugR version. Mystic Enforcer > lightning bolt. The only really good thing you get from the red is Fire. And I really wouldn't recommend ugWR... |

That's funny, I picked up Angel Stompy a couple of weeks ago for fun. I like that deck a lot too. It is fun, and a lot less thinking..maybe that's what makes it so much fun..
Anyway, I forgot to post my Sideboard, so I am going to do that now:
2 Compost
2 Armageddon
3 Naturalize
3 Tormod's Crypt
2 Nantuko Monestery
2 Counterbalance
1 Engineered Explosives
I want to find a place for Ground Seal in here, due to the recent uprise of Jotun Grunt. I hate having to play around him...andthis card is the answer. What should I take out?? |

I wouldn't use tormod's crypt at all, it's the first pithing needle target, Morningtide is overall better, just don't unload on your own graveyard until you have an advantage over theirs. if you hold back, and let them get to say, 5 cards in their graveyard, then play it, giving them zero, and you one, then you can unload your stuff. you could also use your own Jotun Grunts. That's not that bad of idea, actually.
Armageddon should go to four. 43land.dec is retarted, I lost to it in the trial because I only had two in the board, and didn't draw them.
Not to sure about counterbalance. I think it's a shit card in legacy, but I guess it would be decent for the mirror, though you don't have any deck manipulation, so I'd just drop it.
True Beliver > Homebrew. just the fact that they can't target you with hymns is good enough reason to run this dude.
hope some of this advise helps. |
