| Hi everyone, just have a quick question about the red coldsnap common rite of flame. The first time that I play the card will I get RR or RRR in my mana pool? The reason why I ask is because I am wondering if it is like vore in the sense that if vore is a 3/3 and gets volcanic hammered he lives, is rite of flame going to give me RR then go to the graveyard and then fulfill the final condition and give me another R? All input would be appreciated, thanks in advance. |

| No, it looks for the other Rite of Flames before it origionally hits the graveyard (upon resolution). So, no, you only get RR off the first one. |

| The way that response is stated is kind of cavalier with the phrase "upon resolution". The last part of a spell resolving is going to the graveyard, so the Rite adds two red to your pool, looks to see if there are anymore in the 'yard, notices there aren't, then goes to the graveyard. |

| I'm the same person that responded the first time. Wildfire goes on the stack, deals four damage to each creature, then each player chooses four lands, starting with the player that cast wildfire, then both players sac the lands. At this point magnivore is a four/four with four damage on him, however he won't die until state based effects are checked. Those aren't checked until the spell fully resolves. (like above) the last part of the spell resolving is going to the graveyard. This means when state based effects are checked, he's a 5/5, and still only has four damage on him. |
