A Short Guide:

Note: Non-XP users may need to download a http dll file, you can just google for this file.

1.) Download & Install G.O. ( http://tinyurl.com/rehdc )
2.) Start GO.exe
3.) Load a Deck (Deck, Load, etc)
4.) Check out solitaire mode (Extra, Solitaire Mode)
5.) Switch to a better theme (Themes, Basic..)

You can also register a username via Server, Main Servers, Register New User -> wait for connect -> type /reg USERNAME PASSWORD and press ENTER. Note however that this login is completely seperate from your ML account and is only intended for beta testing the advanced server.

A Basic Server for hosting yourself will be available soon. Check out the topic of #go for more info.

More later.

I can't make this whole thing out. Seems superior to MWS and especially Apprentice in features but far inferior to both in general user interface. I played for a while on Solitaire mode then gave it up. The areas that display hand, library, graveyard and such need to be fixed and not jump around randomly (The playing feild was movable which wasn't cool). Customizable themes are cool but not so cool that you couldn't just pick a few positions like MWS does and stick with them then have people build themes around this. I realize its a Beta and it seems like it has massive potential to be cool, but the interface at this point is not very user friendly.

With the images, much of Arabian Nights is spelled wrong and thus unusable.

yes, i agree with everyone, you must do SOMETHING better with the interface... try and do something with the "cards" and the way they look... and... try and make all of those "movable" tabs, not move at all, make them stable in a place somewhat like MWS...

So does your mom.

Anyway, back on topic, I'd like to say that even though I know the program is new, nobody is ever on to play. You'd think I could find someone to test it out with at least 1 of the 24 hours, but alas.

We changed too much in the current version (which is only available via #GO for now) so that there is no backwards compatibility.
Therefor, I decided to block users that are not active in the beta testing stage to avoid (computer)crashes on their side.

Of course an url to a proper version can be obtained via #GO, but note that there will be another version block later this weekend.

How about a new version with auto updater? You could put the installer online then and ppl would get the newest versions by themselfs and you don't have to upload and change dl-urls everytime you change it.
