THe Card:

Is it just me or does this make Mono Blue Controlinsane. Not only are all your creature including Teferi himself at instant speed but you no longer have to wait for the end of turn instant from your opponent. This could be a big mistake by making blue too powerful. |

| I think he is better than average, probably playable, but not broken. 5 is a lot of mana to spend for a creature that is only a 3/4, but I can see where you play him eot, then untap and protect him with counterspells and such, and whenever you have leftover mana, you add an additional creature to the field. |

| It's always sad when a spoiler starts comming out, people go wow thats an amazing card! And e n 1 who is smart enough 2 step back and observe the card for what it is, not for the fact its in the upcoming set relizes that most of the time its garbage.... like this little sucker here... plz its 5 mana, at best a side bord card aginst another mono blue deck in a mono blue deck. (cuss we all know how powerfull a MUC deck with 25 counterspells is, just like in mirroden) |

| 2UUU is a pretty hard cost to splash, even with the colour-fixing in Ravnica. This looks like a card ElvishGod might have fun twiddling into a casual deck, but to be even tier-2 competitive? I can't see it happening. |

points for using Elvishgod in your opinion....
IMO, I could see mono blue using this, and yes theres always a mono blue or at least a U with a small splash. However its no godsend, but then again, watch it make a lock when combined with something else. |

There was a time when blue wasn't too powerful, and idiots were saying it was. Then, WotC nerfed blue hardcore, printing awful crap like Vex. Turns out, everytime some idiot says blue is too powerful, a nerf bat gets its wings.
Anyways, thank you Bushviper. Especially since Teferi does nothing to the effect of making a color too powerful. Ironically, it blanks all opposing counters, so one of the things it does is makes blue underpowered. |

| hmm lets see in current T2 control decks run 4-8 counters remand+mana leak, they tap out for signets/persecutes and combo pices (heartbeat) and all of them plays sorcery card drawing so the guy looks good in control, probably MUC maybe splash something. besides counterseplls not many spells are affected by being played only as sorceries but the ability to play your creatures anytime can be good cause u can just play him eot and continue to counter anything opp does maybe in counterbalance MUC or something like that. |
