I wasn't sure where to put this, but i'm 90% sure there used to be some peasant magic decks up in the decks section. They seem to have disappeared. Can anyone tell me what happened/where to find thanks?

The decklist were nothing but the standard trash, just look up peasant magic decklists on google and you will get more interesting results. |

| how can I say this in a nice way.... sligh beats EVERY single deck in the meta, bar WG aggro and GR aggro, both of which lose to clamp builds and affinity. you should be running sligh all the time. don't listen to these ppl, seriously.... just go find my peasant deck from the trial and netdeck it, it can't lose to elves with 8 pingers and burn, and just plays more powerful cards than most decks can match. trust me, the sligh deck from the trial is better than ANY other peasant deckk you can netdeck of the internet |

I beat sligh with Elfclamp in the mini this game came from. Of course my sideboard/maindeck is made to beat the top tier decks. Serrated Arrows/Blastoderm FTW.
In my opinion the 4 top tier decks are...

red sligh
blue sligh
high tide
tendrils u/b meandeck
tendrils and tide beat sligh
sligh beats everything else
blue sligh beats everything but red sligh
elves suck against all these maybe not high tide so much
affinity can beat tendrils but looses to alot of stuff
so thered u go my deck persona i am the master and dv8r and me know everything about pez  lol speaking of it i made a new deck ten ghosts i call it  |

Ummm... ok Blue Sligh? Never even heard of it in a serious way (as in being good).
White Weenie smacks Red Sligh and almost all random Aggro decks (Including Burn and Mono-Black) so it is def. top tier plus it's won more peasant tournaments that I know of then any other deck.
LOTS of people play Monoblack in real life in peasant and it SMOKES High Tide and Tendrils the only reason I consider High Tide top tier is that it can beat most nonblack-Aggro as long as it doesn't miss any drops, Tendrils just fizzles too easy in my experience.
ElfClamp is most def. a top tier deck. It's an aggro deck that can combo out if it needs to and it's sideboard can be tweaked to beat just about anything except High-Tide Combo on a good draw, it also has stellar game against Black which is huge for the format.
Affinity just has the potential to beat you straight down. It's a serious aggro deck that is very resiliant to Serrated Arrows which is also huge in this format. As far as go for the throat decks, Affinity is the top.
Sligh has fast creatures and good creature control, it is also weak to Serrated Arrows, Pro-red creatures, and CoP's. It still can win games on just speed alone against Combo and is a good matchup for monoblack.
Just to be clear I'm talking about peasant w/o Unsets, which are gay. |

| I've been able to find decent lists for most things except sligh and I've come up with some good sligh (or goblins) lists. I'm expecting the rules to be unmodified peasant, which allows Un sets. The only good things from Un seem to be Frazzled Editor and Framed!, except Cheatyface. I really hope nobody tries to use Cheatyface. I expect affinity and random decks (lots of T2 cards). Thanks for the format breakdown Nahholmes, Dv8r and Ishocrone. |

If someone runs CheatyFace they are poorly wasting precious uncommon slots. With the Unsets in play High Tide Prosperity is a HUGE problem. Maybe play something with Discard or Counterspells to combat it. Also watch out for Urza's Contact Lenses + Flamevault which gets pretty brutal with Trinket Mages and draw the find combo peices. Savage indeed. |
