There's only 2 decks that are 9th/Rav block/CS already.
one is modified Firemane control and the other, well I won't tell you about that one. It will provide opputunity for new archetypes and probably make for a darn fun master. Vore loses it's most important bounce(eye of nowhere) as well as meloku in some builds and any dragons it may have in the sb.

Current T2 IS with Coldsnap. Memo: It's been August 20 already.

I think the format without kami-block would be tons of fun to play, as well as requiring people to make their own competetive decks(I'm not saying using 'net decks' is a bad thing, but innovation and creativity as two important things in magic.) Of course there'll be some of the current meta's teir 1 decks modified slightly, but with little to base on other decks, everyone will have to work out a deck of their own(or get a friend/teammate to give them one), which in all respects should make for a darn fun tournament!

But it's essentially a fictional format. There is no reason to play it, since none of the results will be relevant. The second Kami block rotates out, Time Spiral rotates in. Might as well make it Urza block/Un sets constructed if you want to have 'fun'.

I think this is the best idea:
The next master is going to be probablly a dead format, most of them are not going to be the same withouth Time Spiral

My Suggestion:
DONT make a master for 17th Sep, instead of that, save the money (each 2 weeks we have a master) and a couple of weeks after the realese of Time Spiral, we can have 2 Master in 2 Weeks with the saved money...

The 2nd choice will be a good place to see where t2 stands before TS rotates in. If you want a master with meaningul results that will help Magic-League'ers get a head start on deck construction, thats the best to start

Yes nothing more relevant then an imaginary T2 without what will be one of the strongest sets ever in it. When Time Spiral drops IT will define the format, it doesn't matter what is good in Ravnica there could be a singe card in Time Spiral that ruins it and is ultimatly playable. I could think of nothing less relevant then post TS T2 w/o TS.
For an idea of how bad this is turn back the clock and imagine a T2 tourney with 9th and Kawigama Block but no Rav as a preperation for Rav coming in.

T2 > Extended > the rest

Personally though I'd prefer T2 Chaos xD

Extended, even though the format will likely change after TS comes out but we've had enough T2 masters recently. Besides, the next two masters after that will be T2 as preparation for States.
