If I splice a spell onto another spell, it gives the original spell the text of the spliced spell, as well as the original text.
Then, if I copy the spell, does the copy have the spliced text as well?
And secondly, after I splice a spell onto another, does the converted mana cost of the original spell changes?

thanks

Lava Spike with A Desperate Ritual I am assuming.

The Lava Spike on the stack will have the text.
"Lava Spike deals 3 damage to target player. Add RRR to your mana pool."

The CMC of Lava Spike will still be only 1 though.

Darn, no edit when your guest, I was clarifying what I wrote.

Lava spike with glacial ray Smile
and also dampens in my milling deck

But you still didn't answer the main question (or I didn't understand it from what you wrote). You said the lava spike on the stack has both texts. Then, if I copy it, does the copy have both texts as well?

Yes it would. You copy the spell exactly as it is on the stack.
