| The hardest style of deck to play is a deck that forces constant interaction between both players, which are control arch-types. It requires not only a full understanding on the game state, but also a very solid idea of what to expect from your opponent. |

| Combo is. Voting otherwise is silly. Try to play Heartbeat Desire vs Scepter chant. Now you know how hard is to play combo. |

At one point in time, the hardest deck to play was Survival due to the intricate decisions required when using Survival.
Now, I'd probably agree and say Combo. Anyone who says otherwise, go try and play Solidarity. Yes, you may be effectively goldfishing, but any card in wrong order can lose you the game. |

It really depends on the deck. Honestly, thats how everyone is choosing sides, based on decks that they are familar with.
Aggro--The decks that come to mind are: RDW (includes BDW), Affinity, Zoo, Gruul, Angel Stompy, and Green Beats.
AgControl--The decks that come to mind are: The Rock (variants) Burn (like Big Red type burn), and BUG. and...eh, aggro loam.
Control--Mono Blue, 'Tog (variants), Rifter, Blue/White, Landstill, Gifts Ungiven (variants).
ControlCombo--Tron (variants), CAL, Gifts Ungiven (the vast varieties and subtle changes make this a two-tier deck) Meandeck Gifts, Oath.
Combo--Mind's Desire, Solidarity, IGGy pop, TPS, Grim Long, TNN, Salvager's Combo (I hate the name bomberman), belcher.
AgCombo--Stax, Uba Stax, SmokeStax...(get the picture)
I didn't name every deck, just the ones that I thought of in oh...twenty seconds or so. These are prettymuch the standard when discsussing the types.
Obviously, Aggro is the easiest to play.
Obviously, Control is the hardest to play.
Obviously, Combo is the hardest and the easiest to play.
but it would be wrong to stop just there.
Yes, in Aggro, you win by turning your cards sideways, but you also have to think extensivly against a good control deck, but to go nuts against combo, with affinity, you have to think if he's got kataki, or is he bluffing, anyother aggro, does he have the counter? if he does, how will it affect the late game? what can I toss that he might think is a resonable play but I'm trying to burn his counter?...The amount of thinking can be absurd.
Yes, in Combo, it can either be the hardest or easiest deck to play, really depending on your build, the deck, and your hand, and just the way the cards fall. you either combo out, or you don't. it's either really easy choices or extremely difficult ones. this type is the most...vague...its hard to get a good feel of alot of combo decks because they are, alot of the times, hit and miss.
Yes, in Control, you win by gaining control of the field, your opponents hand, and hopefully, their mindset. A person who knows he is going to lose is alot easier to beat then a person who knows he is going to win. But, aggainst aggro, should you counter his creature? how many more does he have? I've only got two counters, how can I bluff where he keeps his threats? will I draw more? what if my removal comes to late? how dangerous is that creature? When it comes down to it, Control has the most thinking to do, because the classic control deck is nearly 100% defensive, reactive. But then comes in at the end and smashes face with a huge beater.
Like I said in the beginning, it really depends on the deck. But classicly, Aggro is the easiest, Control is the hardest. Combo goes back and fourth between the easiest and hardest it will have to be just set at 'hand dependant'. |

extended i find aggro easier than the rest, how hard is it to bash your opponent's face in, while using some combat trick's to save your creatures?
And ther other two... I really can't say, they're about the same to me. |
