So I'm currently tuning my Boros Deck Wins deck for the next Extended season, and I seem to have fairly good success against Affinity, Tog, Frig, Control, and the mirror. The only deck that seems to give me a real problem is GB and GBW. Between Deed, Hierarch, Sword of Fire/Ice, Kokusho, I just can't seem to kill them before they have dismantled my offense.
Anyone got some good ideas for this matchup? Cards to go either maindeck or sideboard? |

well i think that deed is the biggest problem looking at the culprits, hierach and koko just add to the loss of all your creatures.
white can easily board enchantment hate so that if they deed turn 3 its not too effective, and u can continue the beats. also helps in case u face an enchantment deck (rogue happens). flames of the blood hand can help with the hierach, makes it like 8 points for 3... hot, and for koko, hes a big fat dragon, so condemn or something? or just kill them before 6 mana, good luck and i hope something i said helped, although no longer an extended player. |

It really depends on your build of BDW....
If you run the normal LD suite...Kokusho shouldn't be much of a problem....If not, Flames of Blood Hand seems okay...although Char is gonna be better... Pithing Needle is a perfect SB option for BDW against all types of decks...That should help your Deed/SoFI problems... |

| I was thinking flames, but I just can't seem to find the room to fit it in. It's only good in a narrow span of situations. |
