OK I never realized they moved the thread so I just now read all the replies... What I've gathered is... If he casts the mortify as the 4th spell it fizzles because the target changed... If he casts the mortify in response to the erayo trigger than it dies because mortify has stack prority... Thanks for clearing this up guys.

Wrong.
The target is always the same, the only thing that changed is it's flipped/non-flipped status.

So a mortify casted as a 4th spell will still destroy erayo.
