Alright this is a new format that I find incredibly fun, and I want to share it with you guys. It is called 100 card singleton or fatty as I call it. The rules are simple, the cards allowed to be played in extended are allowed in your deck. Only one of each card is allowed, except basic lands. Also you deck must be a minimum of 100 cards.

The way I recommend to build a deck is to find some popular deck from the past or now and build it. You can also pick two-four colors and control or aggro and build a deck around that.

To find people to play go to #fatty in mirc and someone will probably be there to help you build your deck or to play you.

And please before you say that it is a stupid format try and build a deck and play it, you'll enjoy it.

Gifts Ungiven is banned in this format too. This is 100 card singleton, 5 color, 7 card of each color must be played. This is by far the best singleton format.

That is the dumbest banlist of all time. Some of it I can understand, but honestly. Volrath's Stronghold? Worthy Cause? Shattering Pulse? Recollect? Beacon of Immortality? Forbid? Future Sight? Genesis? There are many more, but I won't bother mentioning. Why on Earth are they banned?

That's incorrect. Singleton is the format with a 60 card minimum deck size and 1 of each card. Highlander is 100.

Its basically whatever Dan Gray lost to that gets banned. Make your own if you want.

Also - all of the buyback cards are banned. I guess Dan Gray thought they would be a little too good. Recollect is banned because its an all around cheaper version of Elven Cache, and they just really wanted to avoid re-playing cards I guess. Same goes for Genesis...there are plenty of hard creatures to deal with already, and if they kept coming back that would make a casual format very frustrating.
