That's IF you get all the cards in your graveyard and...
1)Null rod isn't in play
2) Tormod's Crypt isn't in play.
3) Leyline of Void isn't in play
4) Planar Void isn't in play.
5) You hit Blessing along the way and graveyard becomes shuffled.(also, Blessing > Krosan's Reclamation).
Also, if you miss the cards you need and can't go off this turn, and you pass and they play Pithing Needle or just win.
Auriok Champion is the superior creature if you can get all the pieces within that oath trigger every time, which you won't.
So straightforward consistency > 3 card clunky sometimes works this turn combo. |

| If you hit Blessing (and I'm not even sure that Salvagers Oath would run Blessing), you could respond to the trigger by returning something. However, that requires a White source. That's the biggest problem with Salvagers. My friend played it for quite a while, but he eventually reverted back to Akroma/Spirit because he lost too many games by having his Orchard wasted. Also, Salvagers is 1 or 2 turns faster, not 3. Assuming that Salvagers wins the turns that it Oaths the first time (which is not at all certain), that puts it 1 turn faster than Oath when the opponent took 2 from fetches/fow/tutor/x, or 2 turns faster if you need to deal the full 20. I have no idea where you got 3 from. |

Because if you don't hit a combo piece with Oath, you lose? |
