| I have been a member of a few other MTG sites, and they almost invariably have something that we do not: a trading forum. Maybe we could start one up?? Ideas, folks? |

Dragon_Lady, i believe somebody posted almost this exact topic before the forums got remade...and it got a "No"
simpley becuase i believe it was that www.Magic-League.com doesnt support it in any way and the forum would just be a waste to them. |

ML doesn't not support trading...it is not involved in trading, it keeps a "do it, but don't complain to us if you get screwed policy" Being this way you can't sue them if you get screwed...
They don't outlaw it, but they don't support it nor accept and claim as apart of it...
meaning no trading forum will be made... |

It figures. In today's litigation-happy society, lots of things get screwed up. =(
Oh well, it was a nice idea anyway. |

its not just about litigation, its about the hassle. You would not believe how many times I get pmed with people saying things along the lines of "PlayerX ripped me. Ban him from #magic-league." Many people can't distinguish supporting and enforcing from "allowing".
Even if there was a forum, without things like references, few people wanting legitimate trade would use the forum with most using it for scamming and/or joking. |

| I personally think that trading with someone over the internet is stupid, unless you actually meet them somewhere and know they arent a 40 year old pervert... but thats just me. |
