EDIT: Let me make this a little more clear. This card is for control decks. Bob is not. They shouldn't be played in the same deck. If you have a lust for cards in control, play Phyrexian Arena. |

this format is sooo removal heavy, think of it this way.
if you untap with niv-mizzet, you win the game, i have never lost a game whare niv mizzet was on my side of the field and I untapped.
lets pretend this is a powerful as niv (imo it is not)
if you untap with this you win the game, seems good
how often do you untap with niv-mizzet in play?, the damn card dies more often than sakura-tribe elder
niv is blue, so you can protect it
this card isnt |

What you basically are saying is that non-blue cards don't fit in U/X Control deck?
(if you wish, you may replace the x with W)
