Confidant is a good creature, but in this deck is not good. Better is Sterling Grove, because search Solitary Confinement or Seismic Assault or Mirari's Wake and preserves before naturalize etc. |

| Dark confident and divining top are awesome in this deck, with usually 24-28 lands you almost never take damage and can still draw goods. Also I would say take out the city of brass, and a duress for a cabal therapy. |

I'm actually playing the Ruel's version from PT Beijing whit one single change: -1 bloostained Mire, +1 Stomping ground and its working well. I think 8 fetchs + 4 sakuras are too much for only 6 basics and 2 shock lands and when the deck was played, the shock land whit the 2 main colors wasn't avaible. This is the deck list:
1 Plains
4 Forgotten Cave
4 Tranquil Thicket
4 Barren Moor
4 Wooded Foothills
3 Bloodstained Mire
1 Sacred Foundry
1 Overgrown Tomb
1 Stomping Ground
2 Forest
2 Mountain
1 Swamp
3 Dark Confidant
4 Birds of Paradise
4 Sakura-Tribe Elder
3 Eternal Witness
2 Duress
3 Cabal Therapy
3 Life from the Loam
3 Solitary Confinement
4 Burning Wish
3 Seismic Assault
Side:
2 Duress
1 Cabal Therapy
1 Dark Confidant
2 Cranial Extraction
1 Pyroclasm
1 Life from the Loam
1 Hull Breach
2 Putrefy
1 Overgrown Estate
3 Loxodon Hierarch
Would u guys try any new card from guildpact or dissension?
Ghost Quarter may fit well, but all decks in current extended play at least one or 2 basic lands, and a big amount of fetchs, so it would only work well by the 3rd time its loamed..
informant118, in general, most pros have cuted the divining top for some extra discard, which is more efficient, because you dont use to loose too many lives and if it turns dangerous or you have found what u were looking for (usually assault or confinement) you can sac it for a therapy, o burn it by discarding a land. I have ever had that problem. |

| Im sure ruel and other pros have had that idea yet, but i dont think it sollves anything, assault is simply better from my point of view. The Rift has one main advantage: it only costs 2 and only 1 red, making it a lot easier to play. But the RRR problem gets solved with the single copy of stomping ground (if you havent tried it with and without it, you won't understand the difference). It also has one disadvantage: even if cheaper to play, it costs more mana doing the same damage than with assault. |

| more mana but you draw , and as it comes into play faster u can use it to kill some early creatures , but yes to kill the oponent assault is perfect. |
