look ppl a magic movie no matter what story line they choose no matter what actors they choose would be just like any other established story line thats been taken outn of tis original form. it would either be totally bad or really excellent thats it

examples Matrix, great movies bad everything else.
startrek great tv show, bad everything else.
dungeons and dragons, great rpg bad everything else
mario great games bad everything else
harry potter good books movies one and 2 ok 3 and 4 not so good
only exception=star wars

I second Scarlett Johansenn (s/p) for an angel, any angel, but preferably Serra Angel. I would pay 6.50 to see her dress up angelically and fly over the battle with a skirt on Shocked

Matrix 1 = good
Matrix 2 and 3 = horrible

Startrek sucked no matter what

D&D has great books, movie sucked though.

Mario movie wasn't bad actually.

All Harry Potter books = Good
All Harry Potter Movies = Bad

Star Wars Luke Saga = Good
Star Wars Aniken saga(pardon my spelling) = bad
Star Wars books = Good

Also, Everytime you read and watch a story, you'll like the first form the most. Usually the other will suck like hell

sides The Shining, which kicked ass in both forms.

So, who remembers getting made fun of for reading The Hobbit and LOTR? Now who remembers getting made fun of for not seeing the movie. Every subject has potential, BABY!

Out of ALL the blocks involved, Odyssey-onslaught saga would be amazing, and most hollywood-riffic. Some bits would obviously have to be cut, like the majoirty of Judgement, heh, but yeah. I want to see Chainer, Skellum, Braids, Phage and Akroma lighting up the big screen. I want to see Zagorka, Sash & Waistcoat, Ixidor and the First. I want to see the final struggle between Averru, Lowallyn, Kuberr, and Karona...and all of Kamahl's fated struggles with the Mirari. It would be amazing.

Remember, the D&D movie was an entirely different setting, despite an obviously tremendous number of settings, characters, etc. to choose from. So, if MtG were to go big screen, it would probably go the same way.

But, even if they did, it really wouldn't "seem" like magic...how are they going to show the idea of having land, casting cost, etc. If anyone ever read the very first magic book (title not coming to me at moment), you can remember they tried to have the main character "visualizing the mountains of his home..." and drawing mana from them...bah.

And, don't forget, the D&D movie was a horrible flop.
